juz nw went to catch a movie called eight below. its a pretty touching movie. hmm... but if i will to catogorise the movie between a 'must see' and 'watch to pass time'. that will unfortunately be under the 'watch to pass time'. indeed. a brave touching plot line, showing the love between the dogs and the master, how dogs struggle to survive in the cold wild for 170++ days and of coz scenes showing that dogs do have feelings too. haha. have to admit that i fell asleep half way through the movie again, having to be awakened by a scene where a sea lion jumped out of no where.
seriously, thinking of it again, this movie seems a bit like discovery channel eh??
anyway, although it was a 'pretty touching' movie like i mentioned earlier, it wasn't really that touching for me afterall. i mean like.. hey, how would u feel if one group of thais sat behind u and through out the whole movie, they just kept talking *and i mean literally talking like as though they watching soccer match at their friend's hse*.. worse still.. in thai language.. i swear i was so fucking disturbed by them sia.
n there was this part which was near the ending where the master found one of the missing dogs who was named something like "myar" *a female dog*.. when the master found it, he thought it was dead, but eventually the female dog regained conscious when the tears shed by the master dropped onto its face *cliche~*.. then at the point when 'myar' regained consciousness.. the thais were going, " 'myar'! *@#%!$%#^!&@*!%#*@!%# 'myar'! @!@(*&*!#@#^%!@(@!.... ... 'myar'!" hmm.. yea. sry, i dunnoe thai, cant translate for u. but what happened basically was that the thais went crazy and kept shouting myar then *thai*... so freaking spoil the mood la..
these thais totally disgraced the other thais...
